"Go on without me," I nodded, "Shopping's not my thing."Selena's lip jutted out slightly, "Please, Baby?""Selena, I said no," I sighed, turning in her arms. Something told me that she wasn't going to understand. It might have been the frown she had on or the way she dropped her arms from around me. "Spend time with Miley," I tried to explain, but Selena hurried out of the kitchen. This was what I was afraid of. Selena was already getting too attached, too clingy. The that usually happens with these types of girls. "Do you think she's mad?" I looked over at Joe.Joe raised his hands in defeat, looking up at Chels. "She's definitely mad," Chelsea replied, "Let her cool off."I decided to take Chelsea's advice, still cooking Selena breakfast since I worked up her appetite. After everything was done, Selena was already dressed and ready to go with Miley. I walked into our bedroom with a plate and orange juice at hand. "Here you go," I rasped, setting the food on the dresser. Selena gave a low scoff, rolling her eyes. "What the is your problem?" I snapped, utterly annoyed with this little immature attitude she had just taken on. Selena looked me over before turning away to fix the bed, "I don't have a problem.""Really? And pigs gold, right?""Just go be with your friends," the girl hissed. "Selena, I don't like you like this. Remember what I told you about how possessive and clingy you girls get after a guy s you for the first time? Well, you're hitting that point.""I just want to spend time with you!" she growled, roughly placing the pillow on the bed. "Stop it! Snap out of it, Selena!" I spat, "Relax and go out with Miley!""But I really wanted you to come with me," she pouted. I shook my head again, disgusted at how this argument was coming around. This wasn't the Selena I was attracted to, but I had a feeling this was going to happen with her. The Selena I came to know was hidden underneath the possessive one that was now claiming me every second of the day. I had to put some space between us, even if I did want to spend time with her. She had to learn one way or another. "Just go with Miles," I walked over to her, pecking her forehead. I dug into the bedside table behind her, handing her a few twenties. "Here," I sighed."Nick, I don't need your money," she scowled, shoving the money back into my hand. "Take it. Go wild. Forget about me for a few hours.""No," she frowned. "Do it for me," I smirked. If she was a sucker for me, this was bound to work. And it worked. Within the next twenty minutes the girls were out the door, chauffeured by Liam. That evening, Selena stormed into the house. I shot my head around, hearing the cabin door slam. "What the hell was that?" Kellan snapped while chowing down on a bag of potato chips."Sel?!" I called out, hearing her huff as she stomped up the stairs. I quickly followed behind her, grabbing her before she could go into the room. "What happened?" I worried, running my hand over her swollen cheek. My eyes carefully ran down my girl, noting her disheveled hair, and her clawed face and arms. "What were you going to do with Demi at the lake, Nicholas?" she spat and my body suddenly went rigid. "You ing bastard!" she growled, shoving me away. "For a second I thought she lied about it, but you just proved to me that she was telling the truth.""Baby, let me explain," I sighed, running my hand through my hair. "I don't want to hear it, Nick! You weren't remotely attracted to her, huh? ing liar!" she stormed into the bedroom, grabbing her suitcase. "Put that down, Selena. We need to talk!""Shove it up your ass, Nick!" she growled, dropping it by the dresser and yanking her drawer open. I watched the girl through her things into her suitcase before it finally hit me to find Demi. I stormed out of the room, rushing downstairs just as Demi was walking through the door. "Why the did you tell Selena?!" I roared, slamming her back against the wall."Don't touch me!" she pounded her fists against my chest, "Besides, she needed to know what kind of dog you are!"Just then, the loud thumping of Selena's suitcase descended for the stairs as she came down. I looked back at my girl, pleading silently for her to hear me out. "Can someone take me home?" she asked, scanning the room. "I'll do it," Logan volunteered and my eyes darted to the . "Stay the hell away from her," I snarled.
