The Last Night S3 E23 [Malerie's Birthday]

Days passed again. But today, Malerie was having her birthday celebration. Her birthday was on a wednesday this year, but it didn't work with Joe and Demi's schedule. They decided on celebrating on a sunday. It was just them friends; Selena, Miley, Kevin, Nick, Taylor, Camilla, and Jamieson. Then there were some of their friends. Some of their guests swam around the pool. Malerie was in a cute little swimsuit that Selena bought for her."That's one pretty hot baby." Camilla laughed as she left Jamieson with Nick and Taylor.Joe whipped his head around from the grill and towards Selena. "Jesus Christ, Selena! What the hell have you done to my child?""Aw. I think she looks beautiful." Demi cooed before snapping another picture of her.Kevin took the baby from Selena and ran away laughing. It was pretty much that way with the group of friends. They'd just take Malerie and run. They loved her and she was like little toy that put a smile on everyone's face; the kid that neither of them had."Relax, old man." Demi giggled as she walked over with an empty plate.Joe picked the cooked meat and placed it on the plate she held out for him. "You and the girls, I swear." He muttered.Demi laughed again and handed him a towel. Joe was dripping wet from surfacing from the pool. "Dry off." She said before walking off again.Miley was off, entertaining their other guests as Selena went an changed the song that was blasting through Joe and Demi's sound system. Everyone had something to do.Demi appeared at his side with a glass of soda. He thanked her and took the drink, taking a break from his grilling. "When did you buy that?" Joe asked, referring to the bikini she was wearing.She smiled at him. "Like it?"Joe's eyes roamed her body for a bit with a smirk. "Oh yeah. I think I do." Demi's been more conservative eversince Malerie. She thought she was only meant for Joe's eyes. Her boyfriend didn't mind. He liked the idea. But Joe lived for these moments where she'd show off her new curves. Even with the loose cover up the hung off her shoulder, Demi still managed to look amazing."Thanks baby."_____Kevin dipped Malerie's legs into the pool water and let her adjust to the temperature. Of course, she shrieked a bit and wiggled around. But he had a firm grip. It actually made him laugh as she started swinging her legs in the water, splashing away."Do you wanna go in?"Malerie looked behind her and nodded before staring back into the water. It fascinated her.Kevin carefully slid in the water and stood as he held the baby's head above the water. He scooped up some water in his hand and dumped it over Malerie's head. She shook and shrieked as the water hit her warm skin. Another one of Kevin's laughs shook through him as he got Malerie to calm down._____"Joe!" Miley chimed. "Your friends are here!"Joe turned away from his girlfriend as the line of guys came into view behind Miley. It was the football team. Joe laughed as they all ganged up on him in handshakes and what not."You little punk! Your house is a mansion and you stress about work?" One of them chuckled with a punch to Joe's arm."Girlfriend's house." He corrected."Dude, whatever. No way are we treating you to nachos anymore." Another one threw in.Joe laughed before he caught a glimpse of Demi, who was heading for Kevin and Malerie. He took her arm and pulled her gently. "This is Demi." Joe smiled brightly."Hey." Demi waved a bit when Joe pushed her forward.This would probably the first time his team would meet Demi. Something he wanted eversince the beginning. His girl was the best and he wanted everyone to know that.The two created a conversation with Joe's friends for awhile until they went off and enjoyed the rest of the party. Everything seemed to be perfect."Well, they seem nice." Demi smiled at Joe as he turned to face her."Oh yeah?""Hey Dems!" Miley cut in from a distance as she waved Demi over. "Your friend Dustin is here!" She called out."You invited him?" Joe questioned."Demi chewed on her lip as she glanced at Miley and Dustin. She looked back at him. "Um, yeah."- - -You're probably confused about the previous episode and this one :) But stay with me. I'm just gonna tease you guys a bit.
