Strange happens when you leave your house...Sometimes things popping in and out of existence Like when you turn your head , even for a minute Jelly jars will float in the cupboard Your dress will walk like Old Mother Hubbard Electric fans will spin they're blades A reappearing last night's cake Floral designs re-sew themselves to make them look like something else. Curtain drapes will play jump-rope With the drawstring blinds just to cope And why? because they're all very bored. We're all too wrapped up in our own reality To consider the lives that we never really see Inanimate Objects that think and feel and be Everyday store bought items As real as you and me. Imagine how a chair feels holding up an ass Imagine how the stairs feel, I'm afraid to ask Imagine how a crum feels severed from a cookie, Does it like being free or does it feel like a rookie Think about a mattress slept on for years Then being thrown out by a couple of hey now What about a plastic bag stuck up in a tree What's going through its head: "IM STUCK IN A GODDAMNED TREE!" Think about a scuff mark underneath your sink The only time it hears you is when you go to get a drink Imagine how a dump feels just after you took it Falling in a pool then going "FLUSH" Think of how a clock feels always telling time Always getting yelled at "Its half passed 9" Imagine how a tile feels baking in the sun Stuck up on your roof to curse the day it was formed Imagine how your tire feels running over glass and then you wonder why you got a mother ing flat. We're all too wrapped up in our own reality To consider the lives that we never really see Inanimate Objects that think and feel and be Everyday store bought items As real as you and me.
